I don’t always have to head out of town to find something different to photograph. Sometimes, my backyard can provide me with all the inspiration I need.
I spent part of last week winterizing around my house, putting patio furniture, water hoses, and sprinklers away for another season. It was when I was organizing a place to store the lawn ornaments that I noticed our cute little gnome. He’s been around a long time and is starting to show his age. I thought it would be nice to take a photo of him sitting in the corner of one of our flower beds. I will have to bring the little guy in sooner or later, but might leave him where he is for just a bit longer. He may look even more photogenic, once we get our first good snowfall.
