With autumn just around the corner, it can only mean one thing … it’s time for the annual Harvest of Memories Gala in Crowsnest Pass. This fundraising event is organized by the Crowsnest Historical Society, and all proceeds go toward supporting the continued operation of the Crowsnest Museum & Archives. We have an amazing museum in our community and there’s lots of interesting things to see here. If you have never been to the museum, you should pay them a visit sometime. It’s well worth the effort!
This year’s Gala will once again be held at the MDM Community Center in Bellevue. The date is Saturday, September 24, 2016, starting at 5:30 pm. The gourmet dinner and entertainment are second to none, and you will also have an opportunity to participate in live and silent auctions, including various raffle draws. Having attended these galas in the past, all I can say is they are a lot of fun. In addition, it’s nice knowing you are supporting a good cause. Tickets are available at the Blairmore Scotiabank.
